So that's 2500 lbs for trailer, 4000 for 4Runner, 4000 for my 4Runner, plus two people so around 10,800 total weight. Check with UHAUL, some places will not let you rent a flat trailer unless your car meets their requirements. Our REESE class III hitch states a capacity of 5000 lbs. This weekend, I want to pick up some retaining wall blocks that comes on a pallet of qty: 126. Had no issues going 65 mph over modest hills though. Braking was obviously affected as well, I have the 231mm Tundra brakes as well.
